Delegation Visits to China for Associations, Chambers and Company Groups

A delegation is a group that travels together for one purpose: an industry association, a chamber of commerce or a company with its partners. It sees several sites in one programme, usually in one sector. PreeChina arranges the ground side for delegations of up to thirty people.

What a delegation programme contains

  • A set of site visits in one cluster, drawn from the industry clusters, at two sites a day at most.
  • Where the sector has one, a trade fair day: see trade fairs.
  • A market visit where it fits the product: see Chinese markets.
  • Time that is not work. A delegation is also a group of people who need to eat, rest and get to know each other.

Meetings with host organisations

A delegation often asks to meet a host industry association or a local business body. PreeChina can ask on the delegation's behalf and coordinate the day. Whether a meeting takes place is decided by the host, and PreeChina does not promise one.

What to send to start

  • The organisation, the sector and the purpose of the visit.
  • The number of travellers, their nationalities and the arrival cities.
  • The weeks being considered.
  • Any sites or hosts the delegation already hopes to visit.
  • The languages the group needs, and whether technical interpreting is wanted.

How it is charged

The ground fee is charged per person for groups of seven to thirty, and the fee table is on the For Associations and Agents page. Hotels, tickets, transport and meals are separate lines in the priced itinerary, paid by the group directly or through PreeChina, which can coordinate the payment and pay on the group's behalf, with no handling fee.

Who this is not for

  • A delegation that needs an official programme arranged through a government body. That goes through the host organisation, not a travel service.
  • A group of more than thirty. Programmes are planned for up to thirty people.
  • A delegation that expects the visit itself to produce a purchase or a contract. PreeChina arranges visits and does not promise results.

Cities, provinces and routes on this site

Delegation programmes usually combine a capital or commercial centre with one or two industrial cities.
