How a Business Group Visit Works, From Briefing to Written Summary

A business visit has more moving parts than a tour, and several of them are settled before any price is given. The steps below are in order.

From first message to the trip

  1. The briefing. The organiser sends the nationality, the industry, the purpose, the group size, the dates and whether a target list exists. See request a briefing.
  2. A 30-minute call. PreeChina asks what the trip has to achieve and tells the organiser plainly what can and cannot be arranged. No price is given on the call.
  3. A draft programme. PreeChina checks which sites can receive the group, flags companies that look like trading companies and draws a route at two sites a day at most.
  4. A priced itinerary and a deposit. Each cost is a separate line. A 30% deposit of the ground service fee holds the dates. Hotels, transport, attractions and other items that must be booked in advance are paid in advance, for the amount actually booked. The 70% balance of the ground service fee is paid on arrival in China, in cash or by bank transfer (T/T).
  5. Before the trip. Entry routes and invitations, the non-disclosure agreement, the site rules for photography and the technical interpreting are settled.
  6. On the ground, then a summary. The group is met at the airport, travels with an English-speaking guide and local coordination, and receives a written summary if one was agreed.
