Lufeng Dinosaur Valley (世界恐龙谷)

The Lufeng Basin is a dense source of Early Jurassic dinosaur fossils. Yang Zhongjian and others began excavating here in 1938, and in 1941 they mounted Lufengosaurus huenei in Chongqing, the first dinosaur skeleton that Chinese scientists excavated, studied and mounted themselves.
