Payments & Spending in China
What is included in the trip price?
All core travel expenses are fully covered — including transportation, accommodation, meals, and planned activities. You don’t need to worry about daily travel payments during the journey. Upgrades to the package, such as adding a single room, purchasing business class tickets, and personal shopping, will incur additional charges. Do I need to pay for anything during the trip?
For the included itinerary, no additional payments are required. Only personal shopping or optional purchases are at your own expense.
Can I use credit cards in China?
Yes. Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, major stores, and shopping areas. For smaller or local purchases, alternative payment methods may be used if needed. And of course, the guide always will be there to assist you.
Do I need to carry cash?
Cash is optional. If you prefer to use cash, your guide can assist with currency exchange and small cash handling when necessary.
What about mobile payments like Alipay or WeChat Pay?
These are widely used in China. If you wish, we can help you set up access for easier local spending during optional activities.
Are there any hidden costs during the trip?
No. The itinerary-based travel experience is transparent and pre-arranged. Any optional expenses (such as personal shopping or upgrades) will always be clearly communicated in advance.
Internet Access in China
Is Google / WhatsApp / Instagram accessible?
Some apps may have limited access in China. We provide alternative tools and connectivity solutions.
Will I have internet access everywhere?
Yes, Wi-Fi and mobile data are widely available in hotels and cities. Of course, our tour guides can also provide Wi-Fi hotspots.
Do I need a VPN?
We guide you based on your usage needs after arrival.

Will language be a barrier during the trip?
Not at all. You will be accompanied by a fluent English-speaking guide throughout your entire journey.
What is the role of my guide?
Your guide is more than a tour guide — they are your dedicated travel concierge in China.
They assist with communication, coordination, logistics, and daily needs, ensuring your journey runs smoothly from start to finish.
Will I have the same guide throughout the trip?
Yes. The same experienced English-speaking travel companion will stay with you for the entire journey, providing consistency, comfort, and a trusted point of contact at all times.
How experienced are your guides?
Our guides are highly experienced professionals with strong knowledge of local culture, destinations, and logistics. They are trained to support international travelers with both practical needs and cultural understanding.
What if I need help outside scheduled activities?
Preechina is your on-the-ground assistant throughout the trip and will support you with any unexpected needs, from communication to coordination and local arrangements.
Mobility & Transportation
Is transportation included in the trip?
Yes. All transportation from arrival to departure is fully included as part of your journey experience. You do not need to arrange or manage any transfers yourself.
How is local transportation arranged within cities?
For distances within approximately 100 km, we provide private vehicles based on group size and luggage requirements:
- 1–3 guests: Standard sedan (e.g., Passat or similar class)
- 4–5 guests: 7-seat MPV (e.g., Buick GL8 or similar class)
- 6–17 guests: Mid-size coach / minibus
- 18+ guests: Full-size coach bus
How are long-distance trips between cities handled?
For intercity travel, we typically arrange high-speed trains or flights depending on distance and schedule.
China’s high-speed rail system is highly developed and often the most efficient option for journeys under 1,000 km.
Is high-speed rail comfortable in China?
Yes. High-speed trains in China are modern, clean, and highly efficient, offering a comfortable and convenient way to travel between major cities.
Can transportation be customized beyond standard options?
Yes. If you prefer unique travel styles, we can fully customize your mobility experience, including:
- Private road trips with a dedicated vehicle
- RV (motorhome) journeys
- Cycling experiences in selected destinations
- Other personalized travel modes upon request
Food & Dining
How are meals arranged during the trip?
Before your journey begins, we will understand your dietary preferences, restrictions, and personal tastes in detail. Based on this, all dining experiences are thoughtfully planned and adjusted throughout your trip.
Can meals be adjusted during the journey?
Yes. As this is a flexible, customized itinerary, dining arrangements can be adjusted in real time to match your expectations and preferences.
Will I be able to find familiar food in China?
Yes. In major cities across China, you can easily find a wide variety of international options, including Western, vegetarian, and halal restaurants.
Will I only eat local Chinese food?
No. Your dining experience is balanced. You will enjoy both comfortable familiar options and carefully selected local specialties.
Will I have the opportunity to try authentic local cuisine?
Absolutely. China has a rich and diverse culinary culture. We will recommend and arrange local dining experiences based on your travel route and personal interest.
Is food safety a concern?
We only recommend and arrange meals at trusted, well-selected restaurants that meet consistent quality and hygiene standards.
Accommodation
What type of hotels are included in the STANDARD PACKAGE – YOAN?
The STANDARD PACKAGE – YOAN includes carefully selected 4-star and 5-star hotels that meet international standards of comfort, safety, and service.
What if a destination does not have international chain hotels?
In smaller cities where international standard may not be available, we will select the best available high-quality local hotels. All options are reviewed in advance and aligned with comfort and safety standards, and will be communicated clearly before confirmation.
What is the default room arrangement?
The default arrangement is twin-sharing (two guests per room), which is commonly used for standard package pricing.
Can I request a single room?
Yes. Single occupancy is available upon request. There may be a fee depending on the situation, approximately $100-$200 per room per night.
Are alternative accommodation experiences available?
Yes. Upon request, we can also arrange unique stays such as:
- RV (motorhome) accommodation
- Camping / tent experiences
- Local homestays with Chinese families
- Other customized lodging styles based on your travel preference

Is the itinerary fixed or flexible?
Our itineraries are structured for comfort and efficiency, but fully adaptable to your preferences during the journey.
Will I feel rushed between cities?
No. Travel pace is designed with rest time, scenic transitions, and recovery time between activities.
Can I skip or replace activities?
Yes. Every experience is optional and can be adjusted in real time.
Is this a group tour with strangers?
No. All journeys are private and customized for your group only. Of course, if you want a local Chinese person to accompany you, we can also help you find one.
Do I need to follow a strict schedule?
No strict timing pressure. We plan smooth transitions, not rigid tour timing.
